What we collect and why

We only collect data that has a clear purpose. Here is what we process and the legal basis under GDPR.

Technical data (server logs)

IP address, browser type, pages visited, timestamps. Collected automatically by our hosting provider to keep the site secure and working.

International data transfers

Your data is primarily stored and processed in the EU. When you use the chat widget, your messages are processed by OpenAI, which is based in the United States. This transfer is covered by Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) as required by GDPR. Website hosting is provided by Netlify via a global CDN with primary nodes in the US and EU. If you consent to analytics, Google Analytics 4 may process data in the United States and other countries, governed by Google's Data Processing Terms. We do not transfer data outside the EU for any other purpose.

Cookies and local storage

This website uses the following local storage and cookies: (1) Language preference - stored in your browser's local storage to remember your selected language. This is necessary for the site to function and no data is sent to third parties. (2) Cookie consent record - stored in your browser's local storage to remember your consent choices. This is necessary to respect your preferences. (3) Google Analytics cookies (_ga, _gid) - set only after you grant analytics consent. These cookies help us understand how visitors use the site. How long we keep your data

  • Server logs: Retained by our hosting provider according to their standard retention policy (typically up to 30 days).
  • Form submissions: Kept until you ask us to delete them, or until the early access onboarding is complete.
  • Chat conversations: Stored as tickets for follow-up. Deleted upon request or when no longer needed for the purpose they were collected.
  • Confirmation emails: Transactional email logs are retained by Mailgun for up to 30 days.
